VI. Equity — GEPA Statement

The YKSD Voluntary Public School Choice Program will eliminate any functions that can impede equitable access or participation: gender, race, national origin, color, disability, or age. Reasonable accommodations will be made for participants with disabilities including providing alternative learning materials suitable for the disability, specialized resources as required through IEPs and 504 plans.

Such barriers should not prevent students, teachers, etc. from such access or participation in, the YKSD Voluntary Public School Choice Program. Specific information regarding our commitment to diversity and accommodations are listed in the narrative.
